We offer research and development capabilities in:
  • Extractions, including essential oils, flavors, and functional ingredients. Our extraction technology includes distillation, liquid-solid and liquid-liquid extraction, separation and isolation.
  • Analytical chemistry, with a special emphasis on identifying and quantifying phytochemicals using state-of-the-art mass spectrometers, HPLC, GC, olfactory detectors, halimeters, and supercritical/subcritical extraction units.
  • Our proprietary Green Plant Program, which provides a safe, reliable, and competitively priced source of strategic proprietary plants. A. M. Todd’s Green Plant Program also supplies supporting information to our alliance growers who produce the plant varieties.
  • Product development from concept through commercialization. Our facilities include a pilot plant for creating innovative confections, oral care, and beverages; our professional staff includes experts in ingredients, formulation, functionality, and product stability.
